FAQ's

What should I do to prepare for a detail?

There are a few things you can do that will help your detailer out.  It will save time so your detailer can focus on really getting into the deep detailed cleaning of your vehicle.

Is detailing worth the money?

Detailing can be worth the money, especially if you want to keep your car in top condition and preserve its value. Regular detailing can help to protect your car's paint, upholstery, and other surfaces from wear and tear, as well as prevent rust and other damage. Plus, a clean and well-maintained car simply looks better and can be more enjoyable to drive.

What is included in a full detailing?

A full detailing package typically includes a thorough cleaning and restoration of both the interior and exterior of the car. This can include services such as washing, waxing, polishing, paint correction, interior vacuuming and cleaning, leather conditioning, and more. The exact services offered will vary depending on the detailing package selected.  We offer 2 full interior and exterior detailing packages, the Classic Package and the "Big Guns" Package and 1 Mobile Detailing Package.  For our existing clients we offer maintenance washes as well.

How often should a car be detailed?

The frequency of detailing can vary depending on how often the car is used, the conditions it is exposed to, and personal preference. As a general rule, it's recommended to have your car detailed at least once or twice a year, and more frequently if you drive in harsh conditions, such as salty roads, extreme temperatures, or heavy traffic.  Sometimes this can be reduced, based on the factors mentioned above, when our existing clients use us to upkeep their vehicles with a maintenance wash.

Does detailing remove scratches?

We offer both scratch removal services and Paint correction services in addition to our detailing services.  Paint correction can remove many moderate scratches, swirls, etching, dullness, and more.  When certain scratches are too deep to completely remove with paint correction, we oftentimes still have options to minimize the appearance of scratches.

Why is Detailing So Expensive?

Investing in the longevity of your vehicle can sometimes be costly but doesn't have to be.  A detail isn't just an express wash and wax from a car wash near you.  A detail is a much more focused cleaning that cleans parts of your vehicle an automatic carwash misses.  Areas like inside of emblems, inside the gas door, cracks and crevices around lights and grilles, bumpers, and wheel barrels are all areas detailers spend time cleaning that a car wash doesn't.  Cleaning in this way takes more time and chemicals than a traditional local carwash is willing to invest.  An interior wipe down isn't the same as an interior detail.  An interior detail is when your professional detailer will deep clean the inside of your car.  Oftentimes they use a tailored approach including using the best detailing products and tools, techniques, and industry standards.  Many detailers, such as us, use commercial grade equipment, chemicals, and methods employed in commercial cleaning and carpet cleaning.  This means when we shampoo carpets or seat shampoo, we are using an industrial extractor that leaves your carpet dryer than a cheap mobile detailer can.  Dryer interior means it takes less time to completely dry and prevents mold, mildew, and other issues that a damp vehicle can create.
